Protocol 01: The Double-Box Mandate
To survive the modern logistics chain, all specimens must be double-boxed. This provides a "crush zone" that protects mechanical integrity.
The 3-Inch Rule: There must be at least 3 inches of high-density packing material (bubble wrap or peanuts) between the inner specimen box and the outer shipping container.
Technical: Antique Fans
- Detach brass blades; ship flat between cardboard.
- Secure oscillating arm with heavy-duty zip-ties.
- Outer box must be 275lb burst-test rated.
Technical: Pocket Watches
- Wrap in acid-free tissue, then small-cell bubble wrap.
- Place inside a rigid "Pill Box" or metal tin.
- Never utilize a padded mailer as primary transport.
Required Documentation
A physical copy of your Intake Log must be included inside the inner box. Ensure the following are legible:
- Full Return Address
- Diagnostic Notes
- Insurance Value
- Contact Frequency
